Lillian Lennon
She – Her – Hers
Lillian Lennon is an lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, queer, intersex, asexual, ally, and pansexual (LGBTQIA+) advocate and transgender freedom-fighter from Talkeetna, Alaska.

During this interview, you will hear experiences beginning with Lillian coming out to her family. Their reaction and support was not what she expected. This led to her running away and being picked up and taken from Anchorage to a treatment facility in another state. Upon coming back to Talkeetna, her hometown, Lillian dove into her passion for activism and advocacy. She saw the need for education and resources in her community.

There are several different resource groups and facilities, Lillian lists, for anyone in the gender-expansive community that may need access to it. Which led her to the LGBTQIA+ community here in Anchorage. There is still much work to be done as far as making sure that allies are being allies and we are all being respectful and kind to one another. Most importantly, we are all different. Lillian wants the public to embrace their differences. We are all human beings.
This is Lillian's story.
