Raymond shared quite a bit of information during our interview and had a lot of important experiences to share. We have chosen to provide Raymond's story in a series of episodes.

Raymond: Episode 1
Many wonder what an individual goes through when they are transitioning. In Raymond’s case, he went from female to male or commonly known as FTM. Now looking back, he’s known since he was a young child, but didn’t start to realize what the feelings and thoughts he had meant until he was the age of 17. Raymond has been able to fully transition since then, but he reflects on his journey to get there.

Access to medical needs is considered a basic human right. Unfortunately, not all have the funds or resources to get the treatments that they need. Full Spectrum Health was the first facility Raymond felt treated him respectfully and listened to his needs. Listen to him share the dangers that he faced when seeking hormone treatment, surgery, and dealing with medical insurance.
